This year book weeks theme was Reading Is My Secret Power. On Friday everyone at my school dressed up. We got to dress up as our favourite book character. I dressed up as Violet Beauregarde and my friend Ruby dressed up as an Oompa Loompa. We both dressed up as characters from Charlie and the chocolate factory.
A good information book must have clear information because if it is not clear then it would not be interesting so barely any people would want to read it. It needs to have true information and interesting. A good information book must have pictures. The pictures have to be realistic and clear for people to look at. The information in a information book has to be written by a person. It can not be taken off the internet or goggle. If so the it would be copyright.
My favourite shortlisted book is the Happiness Box because it was about war and how some people had to live there. The Happiness Box is sad because it talks about a families life and there dad went to war.
Who did you dress up as?

Hey Izzy,
I love your blog post. I dressed up as Enzo from The Art Of Racing In The Rain. Your costume was awesome. It is a bummer that the inflatable suit didn’t come in time.
Your friend,

Wow Izzy!
I really agreed with you when talked about what a good information book needs. You used your words wisely which made the text very descriptive.
I dressed up a Matilda for book week.
I really enjoyed reading your blog!

Hey Izzy!
Really great post! I love how detailed your writing was and I agree on all of the things a good information book needs! My favourite shortlisted was The Happiness Box because I really liked the detail in the pictures and it told a really nice story. For the dress up day I came as an oomper loomper with Ruby. Great job!

Hi Izzy,
I really like the structure and features that you have put into this post. I also like how you have included a picture. On dress up day I came as Gandorf from Lord of the Rings.

Hello again! As you know I just up as Veruca Salt, I don’t think I did a really good job of staying in character but that doesn’t matter! I really like how you included what the theme for this year was and how you told us about the emotions you are feeling in the happiness box. Well done on your post and you should be really proud of yourself! Keep up the great blogging blogging.
